Differential expression between each allele of an autosomal gene, allele-specific expression (ASE), allows us to examine the biological control of gene expression in health and disease.

Using fluorescence and X-rays to target volume-SEM acquisitions within multicellular specimens

In this talk, we will cover the technical aspects of single-cell RNA sequencing protocols, the downstream analysis and future possibilities.

I will illustrate how we can use single-molecule spectroscopy to study transcription factors and their interactions with chromatin, and then discuss what we have recently learned about the elusive neuronal reprogramming factor Ascl1.

In this talk I will summarize our proteomics methodology and findings and further exploration of the cellular functions of these enzymes in the context of breast cancer.

An overview will be given of the retinal oximetry technique and examples of results will be shown.
