About IceBio2023
The biennial Conference on Biology in Iceland will be held October 12 – 14 2023 in Askja and Fróði (Decode building) in Vatnsmýri. As in previous years the conference covers research on all aspects of biology. The conference program is based, as always, almost entirely on submissions from the community.

Nina Overgaard Therkildsen, Associate Professor in the Department of Natural Resources at Cornell University
Ingi Agnarsson, Professor at the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Iceland
Mohamed Noor, Professor at the Department of Biology at Duke University, and scientific adviser to the Star Trek franchise
The IceBio conference is organized by the board of The Icelandic Biological Society, with financial aid and other support from the University of Iceland, deCODE Genetics and academic institutions and companies in Iceland.
