Speaker: Dr. Takuro Nakamura, M.D., Ph.D., Department of Experimental Pathology, Institute of Medical Science, Tokyo Medical University, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Japan
Short bio: Takuro Nakamura is a Chief of pathology at Tokyo Medical University and Chief of Carcinogenesis at the Japanes Foundation for Cancer Research. His research has focuses on acute myeolid leukemia and alveolar soft part sarcoma. He has studied and generated various models for studying these diseases in mice and will tell us about his most recent work on how the ASPSCR1-TFE3 fusion leads to alveolar soft part sarcoma.
