Title: MITF, TFEB and TFE3 and melanoma - Regulation and interaction

Abstract: MITF is crucial for the survival of the melanocytic lineage and TFEB and TFE3 are essential for autophagy and lysosomogenesis. There is significant overlap in the genes these transcription factors regulate and the cellular processes they regulate. Several signaling have been shown to be a key factor in regulating the activity of these factors. We are currently characterizing how they interact, regulate each other and cooperate at activating their target genes.
