Seminar title: Academic Entrepeneurship: How I got involved in setting up the biotech. companies Xbrane Biopharma and Abera Bioscience
Abstract: In my talk I will explain how in 2007 the biotech. company Xbrane Bioscience was founded and how this company has evolved in the biosimilar developer Xbrane Biopharma (www.xbrane.com) and the vaccine developer Abera Bioscience (www.aberabio.com). I will not only talk about the good decisions we made, but also about the (really) bad ones so that other people starting biotech. companies do not have to repeat our mistakes…….
PS: He will also be giving a talk at 12:30-13:10 in seminars in Chemistry/Biochemistry in VR2-157 with the title: Shaping Escherichia coli for recombinant protein production.
