Title: Elucidating key pathways in control of cell proliferation and genome integrity with high content screening

Abstract: Accumulation of genetic changes can turn normal cells into cancer cells, whose major hallmark is the ability to proliferate without control. To unravel key pathways regulating cell proliferation and genome stability, my lab is performing robot-automated RNA interference screening. I will present the results of two of these screens, which includes our ongoing work to understand the underlying mechanisms.
