Title: Role of biological sex in cardiovascular (patho)physiology

Abstract: As a newly recruited faculty member, this presentation will give an overview of the research topic and some details of previous work. Briefly, the role of biological sex and the effects of the steroid 17beta-oestradiol in cardiac (patho)physiology of humans and experimental animals will be discussed.
